Dr. Amaka Ofodu
Nigerian-American physician raised in Kansas City, Missouri
She earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Prisma Health Upstate in South Carolina. Board-certified in both specialties, Dr. Ofodu currently practices as a Med-Peds Hospitalist at Bayview Medical Center and serves as a Clinical Instructor in Hospital Medicine and Pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Dr. Ofodu is deeply committed to mentorship, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and creating psychologically safe learning environments for students and trainees. Outside of medicine.

In addition to her entrepreneurial achievements, she holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
